The Witchball is a significant local sponsor of community activities
We are delighted to announce our sponsorship of Dylan Perrin-Weston, a member of the Mullion School Shooting Team who has entered The Schools Challenge.
The Schools Challenge was born in 2004, with the first event being held in 2005, to encourage schools to add shot gun shooting to school sports. Its success stems from all the extra activities at this event, which include the Browning Rabbit Mania, Stratstone Land Rover 4x4 off roading, Pool Shoot and much more.
It has become increasingly popular over the years with schools entering the competition from all over the country. Good luck Mullion School
The Witchball is proud to announce its two year sponsorship of the local football team Lizard Argyle FC. The team plays in the Whirlwind Sports Trelawny League and feature the Witchball's logo on the back of their home shirts. Adam Weston, our landlord, is being given an honorary shirt by Pete Collins, second team manager and Pete Rudd, club vice chairman
We are pleased to have been able to support the start up of the 1st Lizard Scout Group . At our Beer Festival this year, we raised £650 towards the set up costs of this scout group.
We are proud to have been able to support the build of Landewednack School's multi-purpose track. As part of the school's dream to further enhance its sporting provision, a multi-purpose track has been established on its sports field. It is an area where the children can run but also cycle. Inevetiably, the weather prevents the school from accessing its field but the track ensures the children have more space to be active and enjoy a number of sports.
